Adaptive Organizations for Human-Centric Transformation

The AO-method is a human‑centric, systemic way to design and grow truly adaptive organizations by shaping interaction rules, structures, and experiences rather than rolling out a fixed agile framework.

The AO-method treats “agile” as a dynamic in a social system and gives you a practical operating model (principles, structures, metrics, transitions) to cultivate that dynamic across the whole enterprise, not just in teams.

How AO is used in practice

Experience‑driven adaptation: The five experience dimensions are measured and reviewed regularly to decide which structures, policies, or practices to change next.

Whole‑company scope: It is explicitly designed to extend agility beyond IT or delivery teams to the entire organizational system.

Phased transformation: AO describes transition phases and archetypes, using pilots and experiments (e.g., new roles, sociograms, swarming) to evolve the operating model step by step.
